[Schimära]

Afaik ist 1.X T2 x 2 = 4 Blöcke 2 Core Sets; ab Herbst also M11 und M12. Dass das Core Set dazwischen erscheint, ist halt nunmal so. Vor paar Jahren gabs auch nur aller 2 Jahre ein Core Set.

Habe aber auch noch nichts festes gefunden. Ein "Vier Jahres Format" würde halt M10 noch mit einschließen, aber das glaube ich nicht wirklich - 4-3 im Block-Coreset Verhältnis passt nicht so ganz...

Um euch mal mit etwas handfestem unter die Arme zu greifen. :

The Extended format, formerly known as Type 1.x, consists of the last four years of block rotations and core sets. With each autumn set release, one year's worth of sets rotate out of the format. Any additional sets released between rotations are automatically added to this format's card pool.[4] This system was implemented in July 2010 to reduce the format's card pool, making it more attractive to play.[5] The current Extended rotation (as of October 1st, 2010) consists of the Scars of Mirrodin, Lorwyn-Shadowmoor, Shards of Alara, and Zendikar blocks; and the Magic 2010 and Magic 2011 core sets.[6]

Das heisst kurzfristig sind M10,M11 und M12 im Extended enthalten, dann mit dem nächten Block vrabschieden sich, wenn ich das richtig sehe M10 zusammen mit den Blocks: Lorwyn/Shadowmoor und Shards of Alara, also gegen Oktober 2011, sollte dies dann der Fall sein.

Das stimmt so nicht. Alara rotiert nicht zusammen mit Lorwyn, das sind unterschiedliche Jahre.

Grundsätzlich gilt:
2010/2011: Scars of Mirrodin Block + M12
2009/2010: Zendikar Block + M11
2008/2009: Alara Block + M10
2007/2008: Lorwyn und Shadowmoor Block + M09

Wenn das nächste große Set im Oktober 2011 erscheint, wird das letzte Jahr, also der Lorwyn und Shadowmoor Block rausrotieren.

Bisher konnte ich nichts dazu finden, aber weiß zufällig jemand ob m10 dieses Jahr schon rausrotiert oder erst zusammen mit dem Alara - Block? Ich würde ja sagen, dass es mit Alara fliegt, aber konnte nach ein paar Minuten googlen nichts aus offizieller Quelle finden.

As for Extended, this new Standard rotation slightly alters the Extended rotation policy outlined by Devin Low in his March 7, 2008 column. As will be the case in Standard, core sets will rotate out of Extended with the block that precedes them. So this fall, when the "Live" set rotates in, Eighth Edition will rotate out of Extended along with Onslaught block
