#409598 Die "Danke"-Funktion

Geschrieben von Nils am 11. Januar 2009 - 17:00

Moment...
edit2: So, jetzt aber!

#409610 Visual Spoiler druckfähig machen

Geschrieben von /zen am 11. Januar 2009 - 17:19

Here's what you need.

In diesem Fall also:

http://www.spielraum.co.at/preise/magic/visual_spoiler_print.php?edition=Shards+of+Alara&pos=1&anz=3

http://www.spielraum.co.at/preise/magic/visual_spoiler_print.php?edition=Shards+of+Alara&pos=1&anz=100

Drucken klicken. Den Desktop or whatever als Speicherziel auswählen. Warten. Done!

#449608 Warum heisst es Tron ?

Geschrieben von boenz666 am 16. Mai 2009 - 21:12

Frage:

For us Magic n00bs, what exactly does it mean by a Tron deck? I see no computers

Antwort:

Behold the "Tron". Short for Urza-tron. So named because it sounds techie and mechanical and this combo of three lands which when assembled produce seven colourless mana tended to be used with large expensive artifacts.

€: Und hier etwas offizieller:

from Wizards.com came this quote that doesn't actually seem to be very helpful.
"Urza's Tower, Urza's Mine, and Urza's Power Plant combine to increase each other's production. The three cards earned the nickname "Urzatron" because combined they generate insane amounts of mana."
The quote can be found here in an article from 2002... Artikel

THE URZATRON
Later in Antiquities, the mechanic was fully realized. Enter the Urza Lands three: Mine, Power Plant, and Tower. These lands truly harnessed the power of combination-specific cards. Players began to experiment with the viability of a built-in mana engine designed around having these three cards in play. While there weren’t any cards which could easily tutor for your missing lands, outside of Demonic Tutor itself, the risk versus reward of playing these lands were undeniable. Without the Mine, the Power Plant and Tower were simply bad colorless mana producers. Same with the Plant and Mine without the Tower, and the Tower and Mine without the Plant. But put all three together, and suddenly you could have 7 mana as soon as the third turn. Undeniable. Suddenly, unplayably highly costed artifacts from other expansions were feasible in a Urza Land deck, especially combined with Mishra's Workshops. Aladdin's Ring came into play on turn four, ready to go. Splash a little red and you’ve got a rather large Disintegrate on turn 5. Even the gigantic Colossus of Sardia could be played and untapped as early as turn five without the need of Dark Rituals, Basalt Monoliths, or late game mana development.

Und als letzte potentielle Mutmaßung:

It's a fact that it's Voltron, not speculation.
In Voltron, all the pieces came together to make one powerhouse, hence Urzatron.

+

I seem to remember reading about it back when AQ came out, possibly in the monthly mag that wizards produced or in one of the early novels. The 3 lands are each a separate piece of a large machine called the Urzatron. Thats why 1 of each yields the extra mana production.
