702.48a Einberufen ist eine statische Fähigkeiten, die wirkt, solange der Zauberspruch mit Einberufen auf dem Stapel ist. „Einberufen“ bedeutet: „Als Zusatzkosten, um diesen Zauberspruch zu wirken, kannst du eine beliebige Anzahl an ungetappten Kreaturen, die du kontrollierst, tappen. Jede Kreatur, die auf diese Weise getappt wurde, reduziert die Kosten zum Wirken dieses Zauberspruchs um oder um ein Mana einer der Farben dieser Kreatur.“ Das Nutzen der Einberufen-Fähigkeit folgt den Regeln für das Bezahlen von zusätzlichen Kosten in den Regeln 601.2b und 601.2e–g.

Beispiel: Du wirkst Wächter von Vitu-Ghazi, einen Zauberspruch mit Einberufen, der kostet. Du sagst an, dass du eine farblose, eine rote und eine grün-weiße Kreatur tappen wirst, um dabei zu helfen, dafür zu bezahlen. Die farblose Kreatur und die rote Kreatur reduzieren die Kosten des Zauberspruchs jeweils um . Du wählst, ob die grün-weiße Kreatur die Kosten des Zauberspruchs um , oder reduziert. Dann werden die Kreaturen getappt, sowie du die Kosten des Wächters von Vitu-Ghazi bezahlst.

702.48b Mehrere Fälle von Einberufen auf demselben Zauberspruch sind redundant.

• Du kannst nur ungetappte Kreaturen, die du kontrollierst, tappen, um die Kosten eines Zaubers mit Einberufen, den du spielst, zu reduzieren.
• Falls du eine Kreatur kontrollierst, die getappt werden kann, um Mana zu produzieren, kannst du sie beim Spielen eines Zauberspruchs mit Einberufen entweder tappen, um Mana zu produzieren, oder sie tappen, um die Kosten des Zaubers zu reduzieren – aber nicht beides.
• Tappst du eine mehrfarbige Kreatur, um die Kosten eines Zauberspruchs mit Einberufen zu reduzieren, verringerst du die Kosten um oder um ein Mana einer der Farben dieser Kreatur, ganz wie du willst.

Convoke is a static ability that lets you tap your creatures to help pay for other spells. Only cards from the Selesnya guild (green, white, or green-white) have convoke.

Convoke is a static ability that functions while the spell with convoke is on the stack. „Convoke“ means „As an additional cost to cast this spell, you may tap any number of untapped creatures you control. Each creature tapped this way reduces the cost to cast this spell by or by one mana of any of that creature's colors.“ Using the convoke ability follows the rules for paying additional costs in rules 601.2b and 601.2e-g.

Example: You cast Guardian of Vitu-Ghazi, a spell with convoke that costs . You announce that you're going to tap a colorless creature, a red creature, and a green-and-white creature to help pay for it. The colorless creature and the red creature each reduce the spell's cost by . You choose whether the green-white creature reduces the spell's cost by , , or . Then the creatures become tapped as you pay Guardian of Vitu-Ghazi's cost.

702.48b. Multiple instances of convoke on the same spell are redundant.

• You can tap only untapped creatures you control to reduce the cost of a spell with convoke that you play.
• While playing a spell with convoke, if you control a creature that taps to produce mana, you can either tap it for mana or tap it to reduce the cost of the spell, but not both.
• If you tap a multicolored creature to reduce the cost of a spell with convoke, you reduce the cost by or by one mana of your choice of any of that creature's colors.
• Convoke doesn't change a spell's mana cost or converted mana cost.
