Mathcad uses the units of the SI systemof units by default.
The units can be assigned directly tothe quantities or selected from an extensive list (Insert/Unit).
A common error occurs because Mathcaddoes not distinguish between formula symbols and units for variables - https://domyhomework...ssignment-help/ . Even an incorrectly selectedorder of given quantities will result in the quantity (s) being inserted as the
unit (s) and lead to an incorrect result:
In the case of different units, Mathcadconverts if necessary and automatically displays the results in the base unit:
If the result is to be given in adifferent unit, the result field is clicked. A placeholder is created to the
right of the unit - do my geometryhomework for me ,which is filled with the desired unit. Mathcad converts immediately:
Not all common units are known to thesystem (e.g. gram or decimetre):
(The fact that a (wrong) result isnevertheless displayed here is due to the fact that Mathcad uses the unit
already defined above, i.e. b = 3m).
The "missing" unit can beprovided by an additional definition:
Mathcad contains predefined variablesthat can be calculated - do my homework for me - with without having to specifythem again (e.g. π, e, g).
